Annie Richards, @shoreriversorg Chester Riverkeeper, joined us today to talk about all of the advocacy work she does for our waterways!💦🌊💧📝⚖️
From point source pollutants and septic systems to public policy and industrial sludge, this conversation was eye opening, informative and inspiring. We loved hosting such an influential environmental leader (and Gunston Alum) on campus🔬🛥️📝🍃🌾📣
Thanks so much, Annie!

“Having known Brad outside of Gunston, I can’t imagine anyone else more suited for this role. I am excited to be working with him!” - Mel Skirkanich, Associate Director of the Chesapeake Watershed Semester & Sustainability
Dear Chesapeake Watershed Semester Students and Families,
My name is Bradley Hirsh and I am the new Director of the Chesapeake Watershed Semester. I am delighted to be working with you this upcoming semester! I’m happily getting settled into the office, and I wanted to reach out to you to address any questions that you may have about the upcoming Chesapeake Watershed Semester. I am a familiar face to many Gunston students because I have led a series of Bay Studies trips while I worked for Sultana Education Foundation, but I look forward to getting to know Gunston students and families even better over the coming months. With that in mind, I want to give you a quick synopsis of my background. I have been working in education for the past 21 years. Most recently, I was the Director of Paddling Programs at Sultana Education Foundation.
